Cut Off at the Pass

Limited edition archival pigment print in several sizes.

Amid a plume of dust a mare turns to assert her dominance in the moving herd. Of the many horse photographs I have taken, my favorite moments are the ones that capture the interactions between individuals in a herd. I feel we can see much of ourselves in the nature of these beautiful animals.

Cut Off at the Pass is a photograph I made in near Santa Fe, New Mexico in the Fall of 2007. This image is produced as a limited edition of 50 prints total. Each print is numbered and signed by myself and includes a certificate of authenticity. The edition consists of two sizes on paper and a larger size on streched canvas.
