With the wind in her mane and the glow of the setting sun on her face, she ponders the western hills through the clearing storm.

Into the Wind is a digital composite photograph I created from two of my photos. The foreground image is our Standardbred horse “Midge,” and the background is a photo of a cloudy sky above the Blue Ridge section of the California Coast Range, near Woodland, California.

This print is an open, numbered edition. Each print is numbered and signed by myself and includes a certificate of authenticity. Two image sizes are offered – see below.

My editions are printed with Epson Ultrachrome archival pigment ink on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl paper. This is a heavy weight archival quality paper with a slight luster finish, reminiscent of art-quality double weight photographic paper. Each print is sprayed with several coats of a UV protective coating. This ink/paper combination yields prints with maximum tonal range, saturated colors and rich blacks. The image sizes listed below are printed on oversized paper with plenty of room for handling and matting.
